Can I just tell you how long it took me to find one good image of sill length curtains? Too long, which makes me wonder about the choice I just embarked on. HA. I went ahead and ordered West Elm's 63" length curtains while they are on a huge sale. For $15 a panel it was worth a shot. This length will give me sill length curtains and with them being white they will just blend into the wall. I like the more casual look for the bedroom plus the way the room is set up long curtains will be hard to actually function and I need them to function. I also went ahead and ordered the hidden blackout panels for nights. I like having a choice between full on light blocking and then light filtering for day time. I also am hoping the blackout panel will help with the draft that I can feel when the wind blows. Yes, I can feel cold wind while in bed and the window's shut. I think if the curtains end up falling flat or boring then adding this trim could be kind of amazing. I LOVE how it is used here. Like really love. With free shipping I won't be out anything if this ends up being a huge fail. Can't wait to give it a go though! Never hurts to try, right?
