An Inspired Shoot

I had the pleasure of shooting Tiffany at The Optimist in Atlanta last weekend. It was by far one of my favorite shoots ever. The light filled space plus working with one the most beautiful people I know, inside and out, makes for the perfect pairing. The Optimist has some of the best food hands down. The design of the space inspires me like no other. It really was quite a wonderful day to say the least.

Ellie also makes for the best test lighting subject. She came along for the shoot and a little shopping after. Ellie is also becoming quite the photographer herself. She snapped this pic of Tiffany with an iPhone. I mean really. I love her composition.

Last month we had the pleasure to shoot a reception at the Wynfield estates in Montgomery, AL. It was dark by the time we arrived from the ceremony, so needless to say shooting pictures in the dark is hard. I still thought they were worth a share though. The Estate was owned by the Blount family and after being passed down generations the upkeep became to much. They donated the estate to the state in hopes the governor may live there. Since then two governor's have held office and both have decided to stay in the governor's mansion. It sat as is for some time until they decied to allow weddings to be held there. You can't go in the main house, but the estate and conservatory is up for use. The conservatory was actually done by Bobby McAlpine and Greg Tankersley. You can see the original set up here. Let's just say I was in high heaven every moment I got to spend to here. It is AMAZING!

Change of Pace

Last week when my friend Tiffany, from Savor Home, asked if I would shoot a few outfit posts for her blog I jumped at the chance. We mostly shoot weddings and we have a few families we do every year for Christmas cards so this was a nice change of pace. It also doesn't hurt that Tiffany is stunning inside and out. Time spent with her makes me feel like I can reach for the stars and actually grab a few. She shared her first two looks today on her blog. It's most definitely worth a gander. Love how her outfits are actually achievable for someone like me, just wish I could buy her legs too.
