2020 Gift Guide - EVERY GIRL

I know not everyone will be celebrating this year with gifts, but just incase you are I thought I would share some of my personal favorites. These are all pieces that are tried and true for me. Some will make perfect stocking stuffers and others will feel special sitting under the tree. Just a reminder that some items are affiliate links that I make a small commission on that help me keep this blog going. Others are truly pieces that I love from smaller shops that you may not have heard of. The beautycounter products are products I represent as a consultant, but are truly ones I love.

1} These sunglasses are from Amazon. I destroyed my krewe glasses and needed a pair to fill in the gap. They are inexpensive, but a great dupe. Also will be less sad if I lose these. They would be fun for yourself or your teen.

2} Everlane is my go to shop and this cotton- linen crew sweater is my new favorite. I love that they partner with the best, ethical factories around the world. Source only the finest materials. And share those stories with us—down to the true cost of every product they make. My everlane pieces I had had for years and still look good.

3} I love a good coffee table book. Maybe a little too much. They not only make good reads, but act as useful decor. Made For Living, by Amber Lewis I find to be one I am having trouble putting down.

4} This Holiday exclusive Winter Warmth - Duo is a pretty one. Adds subtle highlighting that can become more dramatic the more you layer on. You can see me apply it here for an everyday look.

5} Noha Nadler made a limited run of the iphone purse. It is petite and I adore it. Perfect for just carrying the essentials. The new hand sanitizer holder is also on my favorites list. It’s perfect for me, but Ellie is already to steal it.

6} Appointed Co yearly planner is my absolute go to. I have been using them the last few years and can’t wait to open a fresh one. They can take a beating which is key for me and has plenty of room to map out my week and take notes. I also use the notebooks for both work and to get my thoughts out of my head. Here is a 10% off code for anyone who is in the market.

7} The Jellie’s from beautycounter are something I buy in bulk. Both Ellie and I use them for gifting and use through out the year. I love to break up the set and add a little something extra like a key chain for her girl friends.

8} Really anything from Civil Stoneware I adore. I often use their bowls for styling shelves or use as a catch all. Of course they would also be perfect for a big bowl of pasta too. You can read more about her story here.

2020 Gift Guide - FOR THE GUY

For the guy guide I went from young to grown. So many of the gifts would fit into both the Mr’s and the teens category. I even threw one in for a tot. Just a reminder that some items are affiliate links that I make a small commission on that help me keep this blog going. Others are truly pieces that I love from smaller shops that you may not have heard of. The beautycounter products are products I represent as a consultant, but are truly ones I love.

1} The counterman fresh essentials is a just launched holiday product. The set have both shampoo and body wash plus the new deodorant that has yet to launch. Such a great pairing for your man or teenage son.

2} A leather catch all was actually on my sons list. He needs a spot to toss his airpods and extra change. The Mr has multiple and this one will make its way in a stocking for little k.

3} Shoe Dog is honestly a favorite of both the Mr and I. If your man happens to love a good business story and sneakers then this is a perfect read.

4} These meat injectors are a go to for the Mr for when he grills. We happen to go budget friendly here as we tend to forget items outside on more than one occasion.

5} This one is for the tot. I wish this August River Co. existed when the kids were small. These would be too cute for the little man. Now she just needs to make it all in adult sizes too.

6} This charcoal bar lives in our shower. Perfect for us both really. It would make a great stocking stuffer.

7} A yeti is nothing new, but it does make for a great gift. The Mr carries his around and has gone down on using plastic bottles considerably. Plus they can be put in the dishwasher which is rare for these kind of cups. So it’s a win for us and the environment.

8} Art may not be a typical gift for a man, but one I am sure he would appreciate. These from Christen Colvert Art are ones that I believe invoke certain memories. This one personally reminds me of him fishing with little k. I simple frame would make it easy to prop up in an office or on bedside table.

2} Jenni Kayne mules. They are an investment. I gifted them to myself for my 40th birthday. They look fabulous with a fun dress all the way to leggings. Truly my go to’s.

3} Luyna sleep wear. Being in pajamas is truly my favorite thing. These are my favorites by far & the only ones I now wear. They feel good, easy to wash & make me feel good when wearing pj’s all day. Ellie also swears by the eye mask. It has also cut down on her mask breakouts.

4} Laurel Dawn Corner Studio has a gift. Personally art is something I believe is to be treasured. She is a go-to of mine for myself and my clients. Her pieces are unique and feel special. Can’t invest in an original right now? She also has prints that are so pretty in person.

5} Yearly Co hoop earrings were a gift from my family for my 40th. They truly are heirloom quality pieces and Ellie is already waiting for me to hand them down.

6} Artis makeup brush. These make putting on makeup so easy and gives a flawless finish. You can see it action here. They even have a seconds shop with brushes that may have a minor flaw. These are making it into Ellie’s stocking this year.

7} Noha Nadler tote. I have multiple pieces from Noha that I have bought over the years. The more I use them the better they get. This tote is perfect for work, weekend getaways or for those who love to carry it all.

8} Countertime skin care you have heard me go on and on about on my IG. It is perfect for aging skin. It has truly changed my skin since its release. It’s a safer retinol alternative line that works. Plus it is pretty enough to leave out on the counter. PS the refillable mini set is coming back for a limited run. They sold out in a mere few hours last year.
