The next couple of weeks I plan to tackle the mess of what was once a garage where we parked our cars. It was never my intention to have the garage get to the current state it is in, but our garage door broke and in my quest to organize the house the garage quickly became a dumping ground for all the stuff that I need to sell, store, etc. With the broken door it was easy to forget about it. Now that it is fixed I am ready to get it done. Over the years I have cleaned out and organized the garage time and time again, but nothing has stuck. I hope this time, with the help of Mr., we will be able to figure out a way to keep it orderly. Keep it to where both cars can easily park. The above images are my inspiration. I love the orderly nature. It looks functional and that is my main goal. I think my strategy this time is to remove everything from the garage and only put back what we need. The rest will be dumped, donated, and sold on craigslist. Have any tips? I would love to hear them!
