Cave Hill Cemetery

Louisville is quite a pretty city. Loved the architecture and that fact that instead of tearing down the old they took the time to restore such a historical city. We played tourist and went to the Louisville Slugger Museum. My sister is a baseball fan so I went along with it, but in the end found the whole thing quite intriguing. We explored a few shops and toured many historical spots. The Cave Hill Cemetery was actually quite beautiful and is the only place where both the North and South were buried during the Civil War. The story of Sister Emily Cooper brought me to tears. Now that is living a dedicated life full of meaning. Talk about an odd place to be challenged to be a better person. Ha. Oh, and isn't my Mama pretty? She despises to have her picture taking. Happy she is not a blog reader!
