an art diy

This week I stopped into Target and came across their absolutely adorable Valentine Day bags. I grabbed the above bag and thought this could make for one cute piece of art. I then ran into Michael's and found this little gold frame for a mere $4.00 in the clearance section. I simply cut the bag down using the the frames included mat as a guide. Popped it into the frame and ta-da a cute Valentines addition that will soon make it's way to Ellie's room once the Holiday is over. Not too bad for under $10.00.

* Oh, and if you have a second may you please help me out here? I would greatly appreciate it!

Barn Living

I came across this home a few months back while researching our big vacation. It's a vacation home offered on VRBO. It's quite pricey, but think it would make for quite a dreamy extended family vacation, creative retreat, or the like. My favorite part may just be all the sugarboo designs used throughout. This is one of the many I would love to have in my own home! Okay, maybe this one and this one too.

I am entered in a little contest with my favorite furniture store. I bought both the linen chair and the rolled arm sofa from there. The most likes wins a pretty sizeable prize and well, I would love to win! Then again though who wouldn't? All you have to do is "like" my image on their page. Pretty please???

Will you please vote for me???
