Well Collected

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. We sure did! As always we went to my parents where my mother makes a delicious spread of food. She even went above and beyond and made extras gluten free so I could over indulge. Of course I did just that too. We always enjoy going to my parents. The kiddos run rampant over the ample floor space and their large yard. I in turn marvel over all the pieces my mother has saved and collected over the years. Being in what I call blog land too often enough it seems, myself included, that we redecorate way too much. We change things on a whim and at times, some but not all, pass over quality to have the new trend. This past year I adopted more of my mothers outlook and have collected pieces I hope Ellie and KJ and can enjoy one day in their own homes. Many of my parents pieces are things they collected on their travels while young and pieces that have been passed down generations. I personally hope to obtain the art collection that has been passed down generation after generation. Here is a small look inside their country home...
