Wedding days are long. We are on our feet 7+ hours with very little breaks so comfort is key. This past weekend we had a wedding in Fairhope and the weather was iffy. It was suppose to pour {praise God for another rainless wedding for us} and the air was hot and thick. Honestly I loved it, but I knew my outfit had to be quick drying and not stick to me throughout the day. Gross I know, but unless you have been in the deep south you have no idea how true the latter is. HA. I decided to go with a pair of J.Crew pants that I have had for years. I almost got rid of them, because for a brief period they got tight and they are so not meant to be. Glad I hung on to them! The top is an all time favorite. It's so incredibly soft and easy to wear. It can be dressed up or dressed down. I plan on ordering them in other color ways too now that I know how much I love it. The shoes I posted last week and are pretty much all I wear now. My summer hair is also coming out. The frizz gets intense so a bun and braid is pretty much it. Now just to get a photo strap that actually looks good!
I also realize my resting face is a *ahem* face and it's only getting worse as I get older. Oh boy.
