Beautycounter holiday first sets are to launch today and I could not be any more excited. I thought last year gifts were good, but this year tops it all. They are releasing in batches, but so many of my favorites have made the first round. Of course, once all is revealed to the public then I will be sure to do a full run down on all my favorites on my insta stories and will save them in my highlights, but I am sharing the first round today if you want to take peek. What I love about the sets is that there is something for everyone, truly. They are packaged ready for gift giving you simply need to add a ribbon. Plus some of the sets such as the jellies, yes they are back, can be broken down into smaller gifts. Perfect for girls who want to give their friends a little something. This is also where I wished I ordered even more last year for birthday gift giving throughout the year. They are a favorite of mine and Ellie’s. Everyone from family, teachers to coworkers have options that they will love at all price points. Let me know if I can help in any way. I would be honored to make your holiday gift giving a little easier this year. Don’t we all need something to be a little more easy in 2020? I know I sure do!
CLIENT LOOKIN' PURDY
I am finally able to photograph some homes for my portfolio. I have only one done so far, but have a few more under way. This is only year two of me starting my own business and I am so grateful for the projects that I got to undertake. Currently with Covid and everyone needing to shift so has my business. Currently I am not able to commit to long term projects since day to day I am not sure if the kids will end up doing virtual school full time or not. For now I am doing more consult type work that I can wrap in a mere few months and honestly it has been quite fulfilling. Now more than ever I feel as if people are truly wanting their house to feel like a home and being able to take part in that is such an honor. Here are a few snippets from one that I helped on from conception to completion. We wrapped right before shut down and it was so much fun getting to come back and see it actually being used by the family. The homeowners gave me free reign with every aspect and now we are talking Christmas decor in which this house was made for. So grateful for the homeowners who took a chance on me even before I decided to start my own design business. They truly were the ones who pushed me over the edge to mail in all the paperwork for that LLC. Most selections were mine minus a few items that they took from their old home. I will share what I can if you have specific questions, but just as a reminder they paid me to create a home for them and so I can’t share all the sources. Once I am back to instagram I will be sure to tag who I can also.
Our Garden {part 2}
Even though it is still crazy hot here in Alabama, we are starting to feel the night time dips even if it is only a few degrees. I know we are getting closer to my garden being less green and soon enough I will find myself planting for the spring growth. I wanted to document here how far our garden has come since first undertaking the task in March. It has supplied me with weekly flowers bouquets that has brought me the greatest joy. You can see the first reveal here and see how far it truly has come. Can’t wait for next spring when I know it will be even more filled in.
